Oxford Road Traffic speeds

Good evening to all,
Would anyone agree that Oxford Road in Calne is now being treated like a race track by local drivers.
It's difficult to gauge by eye but some of the cars would seem to be travelling in the region of 50 to 60 MPH most evenings.
I wonder if the residence might be able to get together, and working in conjunction with the police try and curtail this pratice before someone gets injured.
